Pinellas County Sheriffs Office Boosts 9-1-1 Capabilities
Florida PSAP Installs New PlantCML™ Solution

Temecula, CA – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office located in Florida’s Tampa Bay area, recently upgraded its 9-1-1 call-taking and dispatch services by acquiring a new communications solution from PlantCML, North America’s leader in mission-critical communications and response.

The new system, VESTA® M-1 CS, is a robust call-handling system designed for high volume communications centers. It operates over a Verizon voice and data network and will allow the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office to efficiently process calls, better identify caller locations and quickly dispatch emergency personnel to the nearly one million residents living in the county.

VESTA M-1 CS integrates seamlessly with PlantCML’s advanced mapping products as well as radio dispatch solutions.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is the fourth Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the county to upgrade its system over the last two years.
